100% of your Support goes towards our programs to bring the love of reading to the children of our community in Granada , salary for our employees & expenses such as rent, utilities, craft materials, supplies and of course, books.
What could be a greater gift than to bring the joy of reading to children that may have never held a book, been read to by their parents or teachers or entered a library filled with books. Remember your own joy of reading.
We hope you will help by contributing. Just click on the link below: http://www.puedoleerlibrary.com/donations.html

"At the prestigious Museum of Archeology in Guatemala I was pleasantly surprised to find a replica of a painting by our own Luis Garay, one of the cofounders of Puedo Leer! His work is also featured at one of the Belize national museums. This painting is from "Popul Vuh"...great work, Luis" (Helen Korengold)

With your special $800 donation, Your name engraved on a bibliotecaula (school library) in a local community. bibliotecaula is a lockable cupboard that we provide with more or less 100 books. In order to receive this, the staff, and the administrator, participates in a full day workshop in order to learn how to read aloud to a group of children, how books are organized in a library and they then prepare all of the new books ready for the teachers and children to use.
